Hey Babe!, also known as Babe! and also known as Rise and Shine, is a 1980 film, a musical drama starring Yasmine Bleeth and Buddy Hackett. This was Yasmine's first film at the age of 12 years.
Theresa O'Brian is a 12-year-old orphan who desperately wants to attend a school for the performing arts and become a star. She is not receiving encouragement at the orphanage and is getting into trouble with the orphanage officials due to her infractions of the rules and regulations.
In one of her unauthorized adventures away from the orphanage, she meets and befriends Sammy Cohen who was a Vaudeville performer who became an alcoholic and lost his career. He is interested in renewing his career and has faith in Theresa's ability, and together they develop an act called "Buddy and Babe" in order to raise money for Theresa's tuition.
Shot in 1979, the film was released in 1983, by which time the film's "TV Singer" Geraldine Hunt had scored a 1980 Billboard National Disco Action Top 100 number-one hit with "Can't Fake the Feeling".

EN. Requiem for a Maiden (Czech: Requiem pro panenku) is a Czech psychodrama film inspired by real-life tragedy which costed the lives of 26 mentally disabled girls. Released in 1992, it was the directorial debut of Filip Renč who also starred in a supporting role and until today it is his most successful movie. It was also the main role debut for the then 14 years old actress Anna Geislerová.
Fourteen-year-old Marika was placed in a social care institution after being raped by her own father, and her mother died when she was four. By an administrative mistake, however, the girl is put into the Institute for Mentally Disabled Girls at Sance. From the very first day, she tries to remind the staff that she does not belong in this building and should be placed in a children's home in Hradci. There are hard punishments for mentally handicapped girls there. The headmaster of the institute is completely unaware of what is happening in his institution.

Сабине Кляйст, 7 лет... (нем. Sabine Kleist, 7 Jahre...) - немецкий художественный фильм, снятый режиссёром Гельмутом Дзюбой. Премьера фильма состоялась 2 сентября 1982 года в кинотеатре "Kino International" в Берлине. В ГДР фильм впервые был показан в феврале 1983 года на Детском кинофестивале 33-го Берлинского международного кинофестиваля. На телевидении ГДР фильм был впервые показан 24 декабря 1983 на DFF 1. Первые несколько секунд фильма с фотографиями изображающими аварию, погибших родителей Сабине и её поступление в детский дом были вырезаны из эфира (в данной версии фильма все вырезанные кадры присутствуют).
Грустный фильм о потерянном детстве - маленькая Сабина провела свое детство в детском доме после гибели её родителей в автомобильной катастрофе и теперь она пытается найти своё место в этом мире. Она бесцельно слоняется по городу, встречает разных людей, но никто ей не рад...

Sie läuft aus dem Heim davon, irrt zwei Tage und Nächte durch Berlin auf der Suche nach Menschen, denen sie sich mit ihrem Kummer anvertrauen kann. Es gibt flüchtige Begegnungen in einem Zirkus, auf einem Ausflugsdampfer mit einem alten Mann, mit einem polnischen Jungen, der seine Eltern sucht. With the release of his new short film "Crabs in the Sand", Tom Gerber hopes to put the often-ignored subject of childhood sexuality on society’s agenda.
"Crabs in the Sand" is not an easy film to watch. It begins with a picture of innocence and calm – a group of children spending a summer day at the beach. But this idyllic scene is interrupted by a disturbing sexual meeting that teeters on the boundary between rape and prostitution. By the end, it is not clear which of the two parties involved is more wounded.

Drifting Flowers (Chinese: 漂浪青春; pinyin: Cì Qīng; literally: "Piao Lang Qing Chun") is a 2008 Taiwanese lesbian drama film by director Zero Chou. The original Chinese title means “The Drifting Waves of Youth.”
Three stories that share the theme of women coming to terms with homosexuality are brought together in this omnibus drama from Taiwanese filmmaker Zero Chou. In the first segment, May (Pai Chih-ying) is an eight-year-old girl whose older sister Jing (Serena Fang) makes money as a musician, despite the fact she's blind. Jing plays in a night club combo with Diego (Chao Yi-lan), and while May knows that her sister and Diego are close friends, she isn't certain why a woman like Diego insists on acting so masculine - or why she sees Jing and Diego kissing passionately one night. In the second part, Lily (Lu Yi-ching) is an elderly woman who is suffering from Alzheimer's and is losing touch with her past. Lily is reminded of her childhood when she's unexpectedly reunited with her school friend Yen (Sam Wang), but he's changed a great deal since she last saw him -- he's a gay man who enjoys cross dressing and is living with AIDS. In the final chapter, we're reintroduced to Diego and learn of the sexual confusion of her adolescence, as she rebels against the changes in her body and develops a new understanding of herself when she finds love with a beautiful nightclub performer. Piao Lang Quigchun (aka Drifting Flowers) was an official entry at the 2008 Berlin Film Festival.

Men Behind the Sun (Chinese: 黑太阳731 / 黑太陽731; pinyin: hēi tài yáng 731, literally meaning "Black Sun: 731") is a 1988 Hong Kong–Chinese historical horror film directed by T. F. Mou.
The film is a graphic depiction of the war atrocities committed by the Japanese at Unit 731, the secret biological weapons experimentation unit of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The film details the various cruel medical experiments Unit 731 inflicted upon the Chinese and Soviet prisoners towards the end of the war.
As World War II draws to a close, Japanese army officers are cooking up biological weapons to deploy as a last-ditch effort. They test their prototypes on Chinese and Russian war prisoners at an underground facility called Squadron 731, conducting horrific experiments. A gory Chinese polemic, considered a cult classic for its sheer shock value.

Но даже если им удавалось скрыться от пограничников, они часто попадали в лапы торговцев людьми, отличающихся особой жестокостью. Фильм о группе незаконных иммигрантов из Китая, попавших в рабство к гонконгским бандитам, которые их пытают, насилуют и убивают самыми изощренными способами.
В фильме нет слишком жестоких сцен насилия и убийства, больше смахивает на какой то нелепый юмор...

 A Long Walk (長い散歩 Nagai Sanpo) is a 2006 film directed by Japanese director Eiji Okuda.
Matsutaro Yasuda, a retired girl's High School Principal who has lost his wife to alcoholism and is forsaken by his Daughter, moves to an old apartment in a country town. Yasuda, at his new address, meets a little five years old girl who lives next door. Sachi, the little girl, clenches on an iron fence at the apartment. All alone, she is gazing into the distance. Angel's wings made of cardboard are on her back. She is barefoot and wears a summer dress in spite of it being winter. On her leg there are scratches and bruises. Yasuda speaks to Sachi but she does not smile or say a word. When night falls, violent voices can be heard from next door to the mother and her lover echoing in Yasuda's room almost every night. Yasuda blocked out his emotions. He didn't want to hear or see anything. However, little by little something moved his emotions we can call it passion. When he looked into the little girl's eyes, which are also lacking in emotion, something seemed to overlap his wounded heart. "Have you ever seen a blue sky? Where clouds appear like cotton candy and a white bird is flying high?" "Would you like to walk with me?" Yasuda and Sachi begin their long walk.... During their walk, the two meet a young boy named Wataru at a small desolate train station. Wataru seems to be easygoing. However, he is also lonely and holds an empty feeling in his heart. The passing Wataru joins the two on their journey but the trip goes in an unexpected direction when one day Sachi begins to open her heart to Yasuda and Wataru. Cardboard Angel wings begin to fly toward a real sky...

Ophavsmændene hævdede, at den gav et realistisk billede af tidens børn og unge. Amatørskuespillerne kom fra en københavnsk ungdomsklub, og filmens dialog er improviseret. Filmen blev optakten til en bølge af ungdomsfilm med antiautoritær holdning gennem de følgende år.

The plot is similar to that of Lord of the Flies: A group of teenagers are stranded on an uninhabited island, and an initially pleasant vacation turns into a nightmare.
A group from a ten to sixteen-year-old Danish educational center breaks the rules there and goes to an uninhabited island in a stolen boat. When the boat disappears, they are left to themselves, and their holiday turns into a nightmare: peer pressure, serious violence, accidents. But for some of them also an experience of love.

A woman and her seven children live on a farm in Southern France. In spite of the hard work and the mediocre accommodation, their life would be a happy one, but for one person: the owner of the farm an egotistic and authoritarian individual, who is also the lover of the woman and the father of all her children. The farmer handles them as his property, uses them as cheap labour to work in the fields, and denies them the right to leave the farm. It is only the love of the woman for her children that allows them to endure their situation; but even for her, disenchantment has set in.

SE. Hundra svenska år är en dokumentär-TV-serie, producerad av Olle Häger och redigerad av Kjell Tunegård med Hans Villius som berättare (han syns aldrig i bild - man hör bara hans röst). Serien består av åtta avsnitt, som vart och ett berättar Sveriges historia under 1900-talet ur ett särskilt perspektiv. I varje avsnitt visas för ämnet aktuella filmklipp, varvade med intervjuer av olika personer, som var med vid den tid som behandlas och som berättar minnen från den. På filmklippen från de tidigaste delarna av seklet, som från början inte innehåller något ljud, har man lagt på ljud, som skulle kunna passa in (exempelvis sorlande röster och ljudet av marscherande fötter vid bilder av ett första majtåg).

I detta avsnitt, som heter De gamla och kloka må le, fallera, handlar om barn. Passande avsnitt eftersom 1900-talet kallas barnens århundrade. Det var första gången barn fick vara barn och tonåringar kommer upp som fenomen. Kanske har vi idag gått för långt men det vet jag inte. Det har inte alltid varit lätt att vara barn. Farfar jobbade och pappa fick stryk i skolan. Världen har ändrat sig mycket sedan farfar var barn.

Совершенно безумный, не имеющий сюжета фильм французского художника, скульптора и режиссёра Мартиала Райса. О содержательной части фильма говорить смысла нет, следует лишь отметить что в одной из ролей снялся знаменитый американский актёр и сценарист Стерлинг Хэйден. Так же интересен момент - основная часть фильма снята по технологии Eastman Color Negative (ECN), то есть цвета инвертированы. Поэтому здесь присутствует как оригинальная версия фильма, так и второй вариант - после обработки в редакторе видео.

 FR. Le Grand Départ est un film français réalisé par Martial Raysse, sorti en 1972.
Une fin de repas comme tant d'autres: un couple au regard vide devant un écran de télévision, plongé dans une digestion béate; puis, rupture avec l'arrivée brutale et rapide d'un jeune homme, et sa fuite en vélomoteur. Avec lui, le metteur en scène nous entraîne dans une "fête à l'envers"; l'ordre logique est renversé; les personnages changent d'identité; ils empruntent leurs masques tour à tour à des animaux (le chat Caïn), à des héros de la mythologie (Monsieur Nature), à des tableaux célèbres. Les allusions à la peinture sont nombreuses: Léonard de Vinci, Millet, Delacroix et même des contemporains: Labisse et, naturellement, Martial Raysse (le réalisateur est peintre). Les couleurs prennent celles des négatifs d'une photo: les roses buvard tournent subitement au vert, et les mauves délavés au bleu; les catégories, les déterminations ordinaires s'évanouissent dans des effets visuels fluides et inattendus. Ces créatures mystérieuses parlent du "grand départ" et cherchent le "paradis". Cette quête les conduit dans une sorte de communauté hyppie où le rêve a chassé la réalité. Ils se retrouvent sur un radeau soumis à des événements cosmiques indéfinissables; le cauchemar et le merveilleux deviennent inséparables. Les cataclysmes se succèdent; les fantasmes, les espoirs disparaissent, emportés dans un flot d'images évanescentes qui se dissolvent dans la confusion et se désagrègent dans l'horreur! Le grand départ? La quête du paradis? Avec qui? Vers quoi? Puisqu'il semble, "hélas, qu'il n'y ait pas d'autres paradis que celui où nous sommes".
EN. Not a good movie, though a prime example of audacious, rule-breaking cinema. It’s an early seventies French film shown almost entirely in negative exposure, which in itself makes it worth a watch.
LE GRAND DEPART (THE GRAND DEPARTURE; 1972) was the only feature directed by the famed French painter and sculptor Martial Raysse. In keeping with the revolutionary spirit of the time, LE GRAND DEPART has no plot to speak of and appears to have been largely made up on the spot. It shares a kinship with such films as BEGOTTEN (1990) and the X-rated short THE OPERATION (1995), both of which experimented with negative exposure (and far more effectively).
For decades LE GRAND DEPART was thought a “lost” film, but in late 2008 it made its DVD debut (in France), to alternately enchant and disappoint viewers anew.
We follow the cat man into a bizarre fantasy universe presented in negative exposure that reverses color values (black is white and vice versa) and written words. The cat man steals a car and then picks up a young girl he promises to take to “Heaven.” Heaven turns out to be a country chateau inhabited by several more animal mask wearing weirdoes.
There’s also a hippie cult frolicking in the woods nearby. The cult’s leader is an intense English speaking guru who prophecies a “Grand Departure” that will liberate his followers from their Earthly concerns.
Somewhere in here we learn the cat man represents death, as everyone he meets dies soon afterward--if he doesn’t do the killing himself. An example of this occurs when he callously molests a woman on a country road and leaves her for dead.
The cat man winds up on a “raft of freedom” manned by the guru and his followers. The raft becomes a sort of interstellar flying carpet that whisks them all through the cosmos. The trip is fun at first, with the cultists frolicking and playing ball with the Earth(!), but it eventually degenerates into a mass orgy…and the film finally returns to normal exposure.
The negative exposure works wonders, transforming drab Parisian locations into exotic dreamscapes. Of course it can’t do much for the camerawork, which is loose and amateurish; without the visual heightening this would likely play like a crappy home movie. Nor is the acting anything much; the only performer who makes any impression is Sterling Hayden as the cult leader.
 This film was created using technology Eastman Color Negative (ECN) is a photographic processing system created by Kodak in the 1950s for the development of monopack color negative motion picture film stock. Therefore, here is the original version of the film and the second version with inverted chroma.

 Короткометражка о проблемах взросления и отношениях в семье. Мать 12-летней Мари приводит нового бойфренда но Мари не приемлет такого поворота и пытается вернуть мать только себе, единственное место где она может расслабиться это бассейн.
Marie is growing up but she mixes up growing and illness. Desperately she tries to handle her complex thoughts and doubts, unable to share any of them with her young and absent mother. Still, there seems to be one place where Marie finds solace, the swimming pool. Image and sound emerge us under water, in a deafness that individualizes colors and sounds as if we are listening to them for the first time. What's interesting about this short is that it doesn't really follow a straight and classical narrative but a puzzled and kaleidoscopical insight into the main character's head. Sound and image are used to enter Marie's complex inner world. Emotions fade giving the impression of reconciliation. The director manages to show us a powerful, unique and touching insight into the complexity of childhood. A very clever and poetic short!

 Главный герой этого необычного болгарского фильма - звукооператор Моне - записывает на пленку церемонию смены караула у Букингемского дворца и случайно, вместо записи, нажимает кнопку воспроизведения. Раздавшаяся старинная песня болгарских жнецов, которую Моне много раз слышал ребенком, навевает ему вспоминания о детстве, далекой деревне и ее обычаях, об умерших родственниках и самом себе - в те времена трепетном мальчонке, душа которого, живя в мире фантазмов, не принимала и противилась проявлениям зла и насилия.
В этом весьма личном и отчасти автобиографическом фильме режиссер в образах памяти - война, прошедшая по Балканам, быт крестьян, рождение и смерть родственников, свадьба и убийство в родной деревне - пытается найти и выразить взаимосвязь духовных устоев болгарского народа и исторических событий, затронувших его характер.

EN. A middle-aged Bulgarian is watching the change of the guard in front of the Buckingham Palace. For no apparent reason, while looking, in his mind he gets back to his childhood in the little Bulgarian village, he grew up in. Different rites, different traditions and still he finds something in common. He recalls the people he knew, he feared or admired. He ponders over that life of no brilliance, where people plough, harvest, marry and die, celebrate or grieve. Miracle are also worked, conceived in a unlimited child's imagination. It is the child's perception of the world that helps us to give a meaning to the major questions of human existence.

Schuleule Paula ist ein deutscher Kinderfilm von Brigitte Natusch aus dem Jahr 1981. Der Fernsehfilm beruht auf dem gleichnamigen Kinderbuch von Katrin Pieper, die auch am Drehbuch beteiligt war.
Tom wird ab 1. September ein Schulkind der Klasse 1a sein. Im Sommer besucht er zum ersten Mal das Gebäude der Polytechnischen Oberschule „Karl Liebknecht“ und lernt seinen zukünftigen Klassenlehrer Herrn Blinse kennen. Er zeigt ihnen den Sportraum, führt ein kleines Experiment im Chemieraum vor und tut geheimnisvoll, als er mit den Kindern vor dem „Zauberzimmer“ steht. Reinschauen dürfen sie nicht, doch Lehrer Blinse verspricht, das ab dem 1. September nachzuholen.

 Документальный фильм «Дети солнца» был снят в некоммерческих целях, и поначалу планировалось показывать его только на телевидении. Фильм необычен как темой, так и способом подачи материала – редчайших архивных кинозаписей. «Дети солнца» — рассказ о первых «настоящих кибуцных детях», о тех, кто вырос в кибуцных детских яслях и детских садах, кто жил отдельно от родителей с недельного возраста, о тех, для кого слово «группа» было не пустым звуком, а заменой слова «семья». «Другой семьи и не было, – вспоминает один из участников фильма. — Группа была моим миром, воспитательница – любимым человеком. Родителей я звал Рахелька и Йоселе. Ни разу не назвал их мамой и папой. Группа была главным, а потом была работа. Не работать, болеть было стыдно. Работа была религией, группа – семьёй».
Off camera, 18 or so people, born in the mid-1930s, talk about being children born and raised on kibbutzim. They were to become "the new man:" equals, strong of body and spirit, communal with little personal ownership and a keen group consciousness. They tell their stories chronologically in four chapters: "separation" -- their early years living and sleeping apart from their parents, "group" -- pre-teen life as extended family, "elite" -- becoming young adults, and "a second life" -- adults looking back. Home movies and newsreels from the time fill the screen as they talk. Some remained to have children there. What is their assessment now? How are success and failure balanced?

Датский фильм про детей без присмотра, очень напоминает В полцены / Demi-Tarif от Изильд Ле Беско и особенно Папа ушёл, мама тоже / Papa est parti, maman aussi, кстати оба фильма сняты французскими женщинами-режиссёрами. На этот раз мамаша-одиночка с тремя детьми увлеклась мелким воровством в магазинах, клептоманка типа. За ней как то раз пришли добрые дяди в форме и остались детишки дома одни. Пока тянула маман небольшой срок в местной тюряжке бытие домашнее проходило весьма весело...

Même s'ils sont jeunes, Clémentine et Bébé ont bien l'intention de se marier. Seulement Bébé est accusé d'avoir violé une jeune femme. Bébé, enfant adopté, noir de peau, a eu le malheur de croiser le regard bleu d'acier d'un policier raciste. C'est sur ses accusations qu'il est jeté en prison. Clémentine, comme tous les jours, lui rend visite en prison. Cette fois-ci, contrairement à son habitude, elle ne l'appelle pas Bébé, mais François. C'est qu'elle a quelque chose de grave à lui annoncer: elle est enceinte.
